wurmfireworks-tbThe Northern plains of Mol Rehan, which fell silent with the fall of Rivendell, rekindled this week under the spark of war. In an effort to slowly dissolve the hold of Jenn Kellon in the area several citizens embarked on a tower bash east of the Ruins of Rivendell.

The first few days was met with resistance but after a day or two of skirmishing 2 JK fighters fell and only 1 brave citizen KIA. By the middle of the week 2 towers were bashed and while a 3rd was being brought down more JK resistance arrived.  The battle spilled into the desert sands as the brave Mol Rehan citizens engaged and killed 2 more JK and wounding a 3rd while only taking one loss.

By the end of the week another JK tower was being bashed and 3 more JK showed up to attempt to stop the bashing.  Although arriving late to prevent the towers destruction they continued to attack the tower bashing group.  While the Mol Rehan fighters kept the JK at bay the others continued to bash the tower.  One attempted to repair the tower but was quickly cut down while the others continued to skirmish.  Once the tower fell the remaining forces returned back to their lands. We continue to praise and support their effort and hope others step up to feel the fire of Mol Rehan

This Week in Mol Rehan

Guerrilla warfare

In an effort to continue pressure in the north, small forces of gallant MR fighters have made their way to the borders of Jenn Kellon. Rather than attack deeds head on they have been using guerilla tactics to inflict damage where they can. Should a deed be defenseless or lack a station of defenders they break in and loot what they can find. Usually when detected the enemy's logistics and network of roads allows them to arrive quickly, however our forces have manage to go undetected or intercepted so far.

Lightning and Fleeter Movement

After the disease that wiped out a large portion of horses a new facility was created to ensure the horses would be seperated in an attempt to prevent future deaths. The surviving horses were relocated and placed into the pens and a breeding program was restarted. Several horses with good stats manage to survive and are now being bred to provide MR citizens with a quick means to move about. With the high quality horseshoes and gear our blacksmiths make these horses can travel at 30 km/h!

War Leader Gavin Slain PDF Print E-mail

In the depth of the melee, as fighting raged over the battle for LO Landbridge, JK's Mighty War Leader Gavin was felled.

It started when the Jenn Kellon rabble of Hexd, Noyst, Ianpwnsjoo,Pinejon and a Dominated Scorpion lead by their War master Gavin came armed with lock picks in an attempt to drain OB LB's coffers; the only defenders were Carmicheal and Steffe. At a serious disadvantage, outnumbered and outgunned, they heroically held off the attackers until Dragonspawn and Aaetius arrived to provide support. With these two joining the fight the two sides became slightly more evenly matched and every yard that the JKer's won was paid for dearly in blood, with both sides trading blows. The attackers might was a force to be reckoned with, as all of the defenders reached bleeding at some stage or anothe

Settlers traveled from as far away as, Oreo, and Retirement for the Old and the Insane to ring in the Season of Lights in Mol-Rehan's Alchemist Bay. In a week of extraordinary good cheer and neighborliness, this was a place of hustle and bustle with an Impalong sponsored by Tritus of Kallana Verde, various games, building raisings, and hunting parties. Even Santa made time for a visitThe Impalong House in the Snow, handing out charming wands with devastating power and providing a feast beyond all expectations.

What started out as a mild request by Tritus, mayor of Kallana Verde, to get together during the week of Yule became an all out party by holiday end. Taking the Jen-Kellon idea of an Impalong into the untamed lands of Mol-Rehan, he sent out an open invite across the land for any interested in helping to improve tools to arrive at AB at midnight, December 20th.

Once there, crafters were sorted according to their abilities, and anyone who wanted to could drop their own tools off to be improved by 10, 20, sometimes 30 quality points. The idea was one of inclusion and comraderie, with everyone, no matter their skill level, being given a chance to improve both their skills and their tools. It was a raging success, with most items hitting the 65 quality mark before the crafters gave up in exhaustion.

Christmas Impalong at Alchemist Bay PDF Print E-mail

hut2-tbJust before Christmas 2008, players on the Mol Rehan Home lands banded together to hold a Christmas Impalong. Instigated by Titrus, the aim was to improve as many player made objects (tools, weapons, clothing, all kinds of items) in a spirit of fun and community. Mol Rehan is a vast, mountainous land, and the players are often spread far apart. Titrus takes up the story ...

Kallana Verde was not the most happy of places when I left to attend the Craft Fayre in Alchemist Bay. After all it was yule and we were all exhausted after mining through the mountain to the south. So I got in my sail boat with quite a lot of enthusiasm to head for the Gift Giving at Alchemy. It took me a fair time to sail westward along the coast and then south down to the new, but rapidly growing, town of Alchemist Bay. The bay is a city in the making. Currently very much a farming community the place is, nevertheless, vast; a collection of sprawling farming estates that give the town a feel entirely its own.
