Hmm... I don't see how either post "told someone". But no, we didn't have 20 people. That one includes all the people that participated at the failed raid as well. I can't imagine anyone else being there, especially not another 9 people to even say that there were 20.

Was when Cube was conveniently banned, and you had very close to or more than 20 people there with 4 (at best - Auk, Gavin, Xallo and Arti) JK defending and repairing. No one was able to add people to writs with Cube banned, and occurred in late '09. You didn't drain squat that time, you left after Max got shaker orbed in and darned near died. Just cause it isn't in listed on a wiki doesn't mean it didn't happen. I distinctly remember some of the MR raid party cracking out tools and building a floorloom (?) and a mailbox (?), as well as the "Nadroj Birthday Hut" structure, which are all still there.
JK was outnumbered 5 to 1 at the peak and no drain occurred.

And yea, that was me.
December 6, 2009.  I didn't have it stretched completely, but you could see there was roughly 20 people in local, only 4 of them being JK. Participants I remember being there: Badbob, Dragonpen, Horton, Longing, Maximustehgreat, Marley(?) Rudie, Nadroj, Zarma, Wintersolstice, Tvremote, Tommy (alt?), Violet(?) and others that I can't remember. Probably a couple of the ones you mentioned earlier, and some may have been out of local. It took a lot of coordination, but we managed to out repair on a 1:4/1:5 odds. Now that I think about it actually, nobody but Auk could repair.... it was illegal or something. Maybe there wasn't exactly 20 MR, but it was definitely more than 11, maybe only 16 or so.... not much more.  |

Population on wild is never really the same.
JK has always had the most people, never changed. At one point I beleive JK had 70%, while MR had 20% and HOTS had 9 or 10%. This was last summer before the Rivendell siege.
HoTs has been generally going down, but it follows a pattern of being active for awhile then going inactive for long time again. It's the least active kingdom
MR started off going up, around the thunderdome/deedhoppingonline time we were very close to JK. Then around the time TD disbanded and MRH got added we went back down again by alot...then we went back up around the time CV got founded...then we went right back down when LO got banned...now we are slowly going up again from that. i think we are half the population of JK right now.
MR have had 30 man raids before, even 40 man. I think at the triple raid of HSB/Tyre/CV we had 40 people raiding at the same time. And at one of the HSB raids where we had LO and WC we had more than 30 I'd say. I'd argue we had around 30 at one of the Valhalla raids but I doubt it.
Most JK weekend raids are easily 30+, most recent being DB. Dont quote me on any of this though.

You had more then 20, We have a screenshot somewhere in CAPS dropbox of the entire local list. JK had 4 and MR had just over 20. Well pull the screen shot out. I suppose I'll do this for the sake of math- The box is around 94 pixels in size. 6 names can fit in it. To the best of my ability I have measured the slider bar, which comes out to around 28 pixels. 94/28 is 3.36~. Assuming the slider is changed proportionately to the amount of space required in the box, we can assume that there were 20 players in local. 20 - 4 = 16. 16 MR. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that number is accurate. |

Yeah wheres the 20 silver LO?
I always suspected some of you where slow but asking something from a town that was banned ages ago? Only kidding ofcourse. It's just something from long ago when LO was first built. Thunderstruck said 20s to anyone who raids LO. They didn't have to drain or get on deed even just had to try raid. We launched the first attempt to raid LO and HF guys were demanding the 20s. Oh my, I never knew... Thank you for informing me, I feel truly enlightened! No need to thank me with your -like behaviour. |
